As a layman and a fan, my month was made with the new article on Isaiah Berlin just up at the Stanford Encyclopedia. Isaiah Berlin appeared to have a view of philosophy that encouraged amateurs such as myself. After reading the article late last night(which must be reread) I followed the links searching for supporting papers and material. I hope this new site does well.I can't afford the books I should buy, and they often sit unread on the shelf in any case. But I can be distracted from blog-surfing by discussions of hedgehogs.
