		<description>For what it&#039;s worth, the incident was a &lt;i&gt;very&lt;/i&gt; localized one: my SO works on the opposite corner of Union Square, and neither she nor her co-workers saw or heard anything to suggest that there was a problem going on.  I suspect that if you weren&#039;t standing on the corner of 17th and Union Square East at exactly the moment of meltdown, you&#039;d never have noticed it happening if the papers hadn&#039;t covered it.

Makes great copy though.</description>
