Hitherby Dragons is on “my secret blogroll” already. OMG. The Superfriends at Ragnarok. Or, “My name is Theodore Winky, and I am already damned beyond Mr. Falwell’s dreams.” I am going to buy her RPG, just to read it.

(And I have to say that from his participation on the HD threads, I now see Rich Puchalsky in an extremely positive light. And he’s a pretty good poet! Who knew? HD is like that.)

I'm thrilled to be cited again on CT. Thanks! Anyway, now that I'm here, I'm going to pitch my favorite Hitherbies which stand alone: Once Upon a Time, There Was . . . Rainbow Noir The Angels (III of IV) Seven Men: A Chant The Hammer of Wizards The Song Of Bloody Bill Rhys There are also many I like which don't stand alone (particularly Surrender (1 of 2)). There's a whole story arc to Hitherby, and it's about child abuse, dissassociation, and the nature of suffering. See Essay Without Shame for details.

The Canadian comedy group The Vestibules had a fortune-teller sketch.

“I see… a Queen of Diamonds. There’s going to be this queen, see… and she’s gonna have diamonds, that’s the thing!”

“Uh huh…”

“And I see… four clubs. Have you been to four clubs? Recently?”

“Uh… I’ve been to one…”

You make the Powerline bunch as young earth creationists? Nah—IDer’s maybe, but not young-earthers. Even most Intelligent Design types think those guys are nuts.
