I was under the impression that, what with then severe weather and all, the Gulf Coast had already claimed that title. Though, having crossed Texas, it was also amusing that some people on this side of the state are silly enough to use the geographical descriptor "Southwest" in a totally unfactual manner (i.e., applying to anything outside of Mountain Standard Time).
