There are a lot of people out there using spelling mistakes in domain names to make money, and lots of it (it's a low cost, high returns business). Maria handles a lot of the Whois policy process for ICANN, but under no circumstances should her mention of this very intriguing tool be taken as passing value judgements on the varied uses that entirely respectable business owners make of the domain name system.
