BTW the linked news story pretty much proves Schiffren’s point, the woman was raised in an intellectual atmosphere (100% white as far as I can see) that sought to undermine the social order. No doubt most here think that good, some may think it bad. But its a fact. Interestingly, Tiger Wood’s wife’s mother was also quite a lefty—Swedish ‘Immigration and Asylum’ minister in a Social Democratic government. Now obviously Tiger Woods is a great catch financially and by all accounts a good guy—but the genetic uniqueness that was that particular Nordic family is now gone, and I have no doubt that the politics of Wood’s wife’s mother played a part in that. Western Europeans and their descendants elsewhere in the world seem to be bent on self-democide.

I think you’re thinking of Strom Thurmond, who of course took better care of his ‘natural child’ than did Mr. Obama (Sr.) who left his son to be raised on the social capital built up by white society (and look at the news story linked earlier—100% white). You’re error has probably be caused by the vapors you liberals experience by someone even hinting the miscegenation is not necessarily a good thing.

In the 60s Jesse Helms went on TV to denounce the civil rights movement’s leaders, and their combination of “communism, socialism and sex perversion” – which sounds like catnip for Lisa.
He didn’t mellow with age. From Helms’ 1983 speech against the MLK Day public holiday:

King associated with identified members of the Communist Party of the United States (CPUSA), with persons who were former members of or close to the CPUSA, and with CPUSA front organizations. In some important respects King’s civil rights activities and later his opposition to the Vietnam war were strongly influenced by and dependent on these associations.

There is no evidence that King himself was a member of the CPUSA or that he was a rigorous adherent of Marxist ideology or of the Communist Party line. Nevertheless …
