Yeah, my family had a couple of Daleks when I was growing up too. I thought they were incredibly friendly until I was about 6...when they exterminated half the neighborhood. Household appliance = friendly, I think. (He just turned 2). My other children are pretty bright and emotionally well intergrated, fortunately.
