One can substitute a cheerleader thrown into the air with the catchers below. On distrust - I think of windows with bars, missile defense shields, the Berlin Wall, switchblades, barbed wire, the NRA, Joe Liberman. Not sure how to synthesize the two into a coherent 'theme'...
