Many years ago I found the books on tape version of Pinkwater's "Fish Whistle", read by the author, at my local library. I decided to put it in my car and listen to it on my daily commute. More than once I nearly got into an accident because I was laughing so hard. I can't believe they let this guy do bits on NPR. The man in a menace. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery while listening to Daniel Pinkwater. A word of warning.
