Welcome news! -- And a timely arrival, coincidentally; the relationship of full employment policies to neo-liberal and social democratic ideals was exactly the subject pursued in a recent CT thread.

I've appreciated Lane's monthly links at CTE and have had the chance to think about some interesting relationships between nutrition, (early childhood) education, and (eventual) successful employment as a result of following them. Lane, if you have the time and inclination, I would be very interested to know (1) whether these topics are appearing in your current research / publication works in progress, in what contexts etc, and (2) generally, any thoughts regarding these topics to share?

Aside note: I also very much appreciated your memo on the paper-to-be Is Targeting Inferior?, and look forward to the paper -- I've referred to the memo while thinking about the current debates over, e.g., health care reform proposals in the United States.

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to reading Lane's posts.
