I make it a point to ride the ‘El’ whenever I can.

The CTA provides great service.

As a suburbanite who could drive instead of taking Public Transit I willingly pay high rates in order to subsidize those who have no choice.

Transportation theme? I regularly ride the Washington State ferry system, most often to Whidbey Island. By law the ferry system and routes are considered to be part of the state highway system. High housing prices in Seattle have pushed some people to buy homes in outlying areas served by the ferry system. Commute by ferry instead of by car. Some commuters add a bicycle to go from the terminal to final destination.

Great framing of perspective–you have a real eye for that.

If you ever take the brownline into the city there’s a point after depaul but before the downtown area, where the train turns and if you’re sitting at the end of a middle-of-the-train car and facing away from the city (IE facing back the way you came) you can get this incredible shot of the reflection of the city in the window of the car following the one your in. I know this is a super convoluted description, if you’re at all interested I could look it up and describe it better with the exact point. I’ve wanted to take that shot for *years*. Anyway, enjoyed this one, keep it up!
