Feeling a bit dizzy now

In future, when you come across some piece of irritating rhetoric or dishonest spinning, rather than attempt to rebut it simply link to this picture instead. It conveys very well what’s going on and will save a lot of trouble all round.

Dear Christ, I think I’ve gone blind.

An excellent suggestion. In a similar spirit, I commend this in appropriate contexts: http://www.csudh.edu/dearhabermas/scapegoat.htm

I was just wondering where I could find a website that mimicked what you see when you close your eyes and rub them . . .

You’re a better man than I for reading that Instapundit post and having the restraint to call it “irritating rhetoric.”

…but …but
…nothing is actually moving
…it just looks like it is moving
…wow
…just like [fill in the blank]
…feeling a little dizzy now

very cool image.

Does this mean that Instapundit has jumped the shark with such athletic prowess that the opposition will no longer even comment on him?

Bryan, there comes a point where there is nothing new one can say.

I think that by now, only those who really support him and what he says will speak in defense of him. Those who didn’t want to rush to judgement have all finally made their judgement. Those who felt that it was a matter of just one or two issues, or only a personality quirk or two, finally realized that it wasn’t.

For a while now, Instapundit has only been of interest due to the Limbaugh principle - that what he said influenced too many people, so he couldn’t be ignored.

Can anyone suggest a link to suitable pictorial representation of the imperative, “Never mind the message, just shoot the messenger”?
