According to the NYT, Edward Teller has finally met his antimatter twin.

. . . And how many were killed or irradiated in the resulting mutual annihilation? (Sorry, taking metaphor too seriously.)

Still, it would be interesting to estimate how many people worldwide have died as a result of Teller’s promotion of the “Super”, or H-Bomb, including fallout from nuclear testing. Some feel that most cases of cancer in the US since 1950 ultimately come from this source, though I think that’s perhaps an overestimate.
