Baudrillard smiles (ever so faintly).
My wife is manager at a women’s dress shop. She might have dressed those “ladies” (the window reflectionsz might be a little different).
Sadly, that would be in Cape Girardeau, MO; a somewhat less exotic locale.

I mean. it’s a philosophy blog and all, but that was just an honest-to-Dog, auto-complete fuckup* right there.

An earlier attempt at a correction disappeared into the electricity.
(On this blog, one never knows if it’s the creaky construction— “tear out bad wood, put in good wood”— or simply arbitrary and capricious (i.e., over-personalized) moderation.)
