Over here I’ve been pondering this post for three hours, for nothingness is taken very seriously in some quarters (ie: university philosophy departments and monasteries), so no apology necessary, for you have, perhaps unknowingly, tripped upon a very interesting truth: nothingness is always preceeded by somethingness, and further, for somethingness to advance to nothingness, a seminal event must transpire, of a reverting nature I think, which fits very symmetrical with converting nature, that which preceeds from nothingness to somethingness.
