Amon Tobin reinvents himself on Foley Room, an album meticulously created from field recordings and other found sounds Hopefully NOT including the sounds of a pervy Republican congressman ensconced in his office whacking away at a sticky keyboard.
It’s an excellent album, but I have to say I still expect Ma Fleur, the forthcoming album from the Cinematic Orchestra, to be the best Ninja Tune release of 2007. Or maybe Now, Listen Again, the forthcoming DJ Food & DK mix disc.

I can’t thank you enough Henry. You don’t know how happy it makes me to see a music endorsement post that isn’t about classic or prog rock.

I have to admit, I’ve been leery of CT’s musical judgment ever since I discovered that Kieran Healy works for American Idol.
