Chris, Very nice. May I have your permission to use it as a “Cloud of the Day” for the Cloud Appreciation Society?

The illusion created by the picture is perfect, and so is the Renaissance atmosphere. Even just watching it gives me the anxious feeling that I’m about to get the contents of a chamber pot poured onto my head at any minute.

This is stunning indeed! But am I the only one who feels slightly dizzy looking at this picture?

Looks like a Magritte. (Which is high praise indeed.)

As usual I have no gems of the built environment. Here’s fun in the natural environment. https://www.flickr.com/photos/143137002@N06/37193944105/in/dateposted-public/

got the same shot in a courtyard in Lyon – but waaay less pretty with a grey sky and drim drab, dreary, dark and dingy walls…
