As a scene of beauty, however, we can match it, and then some, right here in tiny (50k) Cape Girardeau, MO., which is a hella’ long way from Gay Paree (Yeah, I know, Missouri, but I’m talking about the scenery, not my MAGA neighbors!).
Come on over and “getcha’ some”, as we hillbillies sometimes say! Even Republicans here are friendly; sometimes even a little worldly (sophisticated, as the smart kids say).

@3 A good point–though I’d say that the horizontal color in the central part of the picture is service to a counterpoint of your observation.
