So I now know that the Flatiron Building in New York City was a rip-off :)

Love how the sky is an inverted reflection of the building’s shape.

IIRC Bristol used to have one (slightly less slender) on Victoria Street

The building dates from 1840 per the NIAH.

I used to walk to school along that street.
