That’s better

by Ted on October 6, 2004

I missed about half of the VP debate, but Something Awful has some of the best commentary that I’ve seen. Excerpts:

* Cheney lost some credibility by countering Halliburton accusations with, “the nonpartisan website Sexbarn.org has all the information discrediting those rumors.” Actually, Sexbarn.org turned partisan about the same time they added the alpaca gallery and video section.

* Both candidates struggled with Gwen’s question, “if you could be any flavor of ice cream in the whole wide world, what flavor would you be?”

* When told not to mention John Kerry’s name in his response, Edwards mentioned it twice. Legend has it that if you say John Kerry’s name three times, he will appear and kill you with his hook hand. Gwen scolded Edwards for trying to invoke evil spirits.

Something Awful also features the first really constructive suggestion I’ve seen for memorializing 9/11, which is to remove it from the calendar. As a replacement candidate I would like to suggest a June 31st. I prefer June to September anyways.

Something Awful also noted that one important thing to watch out for during the debates is for George W Bush to be suckling his familiar (a jet black toad) from a supernumerary nipple.

Also, everyone in the world should pay the 10 bucks and join the SA forums.

That would be funny if it wasn’t funny.

You know I think that’s what that lump was on Bush’s back that everyone says was his wireless receiver for his earpiece. That’s where he keeps the toad when he’s got be Presidential in public.

Actually, this story is a vicious lie. Everyone knows that the second Bush got his hands on that toad he’d but an M-80 in it’s mouth and *Blam!* blow it sky-high.

So is Sexbarn.org safe? I don’t mean SFW, just not, well you know, would Sen. Santorum feel at home there?

Better would have been Cheney telling viewers to visit goatse.cx but alas, the terrorists have taken away that reknowned wonder of the world wide web.

SomethingAwful is great. But I still mourn the loss of Adequacy.org

Their post 9/11 article on how Anthrax should change their name with all those moronic headbangers comments had me almost pissing myself.
