I am going to respond personally and possibly unhelpfully to your photo, but the preceding comment about its painterly-ness inspires me.
Your photo made me laugh. I am taking a drawing course right now from an man born in Leningrad right after WW2 and trained at what was then called the Repin Institute in one of the premier academic arts programs of the old Soviet Union. Unsurprisingly, he has a rather un-American approach to arts education. But, oh, the discipline and rigor. Anyhow, for the next two weeks, our assignments are backlit objects and drapery.
Bingo, you’ve got. Backlit drapery. Way cool. Well, at least coincidental. I don’t know if Felix would be amused, but I am.

Wow! Painting-like softness achieved just by brilliant framing.

Very nice. I really like the contrast of the color/light of the fabric with the weathered frame and crumpled whatever at the bottom.
Your photo made me think of one of my few window shots: https://www.flickr.com/photos/143137002@N06/31915025902/in/dateposted-public/
