Henry Farrell was on NPR a couple weeks ago too, and I didn’t see anyone mention it here.
I flipped to NPR, heard some educated person talk about blogs for a few seconds, and then he was asked to recommend a few. I cringed, and then when he said “from the left end of the spectrum”…I was convinced that this seemingly educated British person, probably Andrew Sullivan, would tell us to go to Instapundit. But he said “a former Clinton administration official named Mark Schmitt has a great blog named The Decembrist”, and I was stunned. And then from the right, he recommended The Belgravia Dispatch, and I knew it must be someone from Crooked Timber. Then I noticed that the commentator sounded Irish, so I thought “Aha! It’s Kieran Healey. I am a deductive genius”. But it was the other Irish Crooked Timbrist.
Anyway, nice gig.

Pie – I presume it was the same segment; at least I haven’t spoken to them since. It was first broadcast a couple of weeks ago, and seems to be getting occasionally replayed … looks as though my fate is not to be famous for fifteen minutes, as mildly well-known during irregularly repeated five minute intervals.

Oh come on, Henry, that’s way too modest – obviously you get the rare chance to be famous for fifteen minutes twice.
At least pundits aren’t running around calling you Stenry Henry.
