OK, sorry you’ve lost me. This is an Irish thing, I take it. Mind you they did release the Clangers on DVD some time ago…this is similar, yeah?

Alright. What region DVD is it (ie will it play on the same system as regular UK DVDs)? And what age group is it for? And do you actually recommend it? All serious questions from a prospective non-nostalgic buyer…

Seems to be Region 2. Crap.

And I’d have to say, no, I would not recommend it to non-nostalgic buyers.

Lately I’ve noticed that comment spam on CT has been getting really bad. Indeed, it seems the spam has managed to secure front-page posting access going on a few weeks now.

There is a nice interview with ‘Irish puppetry legend Eugene Lambert’ on Fustar.org (see link). Fustar offers a comparison for those (like me) that have yet enjoyed ‘Wanderly Wagon’:

“Think Dr Who with a fat man [Sorry Eugene!] instead of The Doctor, a grandmother [sic] instead of the companion, a horsedrawn wagon instead of the TARDIS, and absolutely no budget whatsoever, and you’re still miles out.”

Clear as mud.

Hurray! Must have, must have, must have! Wanderly Wagon must go down as one of the trippiest kids shows ever, and it rocked!

Mr. Healy, shame on you for continuing to befuddle innocent Americans… (and we recommend the Fústar series of interviews with Mr. Lambert).

Any chance of CT covering the Dublin riot, btw?

Seems to be Region 2. Crap.

Most Region 1 players have quite simple hacks to allow multi-region play. Google around for yours, Kieran.
