I have no particular interest in (or skill in) photography, but over the last few months I have found that I regularly look forward to seeing your Sunday photoblogging posts. You have a real eye for unusual composition.
The shallow depth of focus makes for an abrupt contrast between the sharply focused artificial figurines and the fuzzier natural folks in the background. The lost beauty of slow film.

The slight noir of the B&W composition makes this. In color it wouldn’t have quite the same punch (or Judy).
