No idea why, but cars, more than weapons, convey the societal mood of arrogance, aggression, and brutality.

To be fair, you don’t get that many American cars that look like *that* driving around in the US either.

AKA “clamshells”.

I’ve owned four Rivieras, though none of that vintage. But I rode in one often when they came out. Heaven.

Possibly the best looking Buick ever. One significant contribution to that is the absence of portholes.
