Reminds me of an episode of Family Guy in which Peter is waxing about how his great-uncle Angus McGriffin invented Golf. Cut to a group of stereotypically attired Scotsmen, with the most Petery looking one saying ‘So we’re all agreed on the rules then: No Blacks, and No Jews.’ Gets edited out of broadcast on almost every channel. Apparently now, comments intended to point out racism in certain institutions and ridicule it, are now in and of themselves racist. What’s the world coming to?

Just back from West Cork myself – a first time. I have never seen so much of the Irish countryside bathed in sunshine. Cape Clear Island is a different world!
