I recall from schooldays a mate invented the bumfruit, a carnivorous racing plant.
“If it races along, how is it a plant?”
I suppose killer tomatoes have an initial element of surprise, but after that they are surely not even as deadly as a seriously annoyed wasps’ nest.

I adore those old covers! Is this your book? I have some Suspense, Astonish, Mystery and I just love those mostly Kirby covers.

“Is this your book?”

Nah, I googled it up. But I own it on Comixology. I bought a collection of old “Suspense” issues. But battered old copies are better than digital versions.

Agreed John. I always said I kept my comics to help fund retirement. Now it’s here! And guess what? I’m going to have a hard time letting ’em go.

This is the Australian attitude to trees. Monstrous things that must be cut down forthwith.
