Also shot a dragonfly recently. Testing a rental lens (Nikon 500mm f/5.6) at a natural area next to the University of Washington. Great subject with color and those fabulous wings. Very nice composition. Here’s one I shot a few years ago behind my campus on the shore of Lake Michigan. I took dozens of photos of the dragonflies that day; this turned out to be the best, and the very first I took!
