Leave of Absence

by Micah on October 7, 2005

Like Tom, I have been away for awhile now. With the kind permission of the other CT’ers, I have taken a leave of absence to work for the federal judiciary. I’m hoping to resume blogging early next fall.

The real quesiton, Micah, is what you would have said if the rest of the CT staff would have tried to force you to choose between them (for good, I mean) and the clerk ship.

Hmm,
w/ my accidentally hitting a space in “clerkship” it makes it sound like you got a boat. Quiting the CT team would be hard, but if there were a boat on offer maybe not so hard.

I hope you enjoy your clerkship, Micah.

When I read “federal judiciary” I figured you were the next Supreme Court nominee.

Congrats, Micah.

When’s Montagu due back?

Montagu spends most of his time dead (for tax reasons, I believe) but may return before too long.

Micah’s overqualified for the SC, no?

He’s not admitting it, but he flunked the qualification test. He was asked, if Jesus sits at the right hand of God, at whose right hand does God sit at? He was speechless, but Harriet Miers knew that one :)
