Sunday photoblogging: Sunflowers, before the evening rain

by Ingrid Robeyns on August 6, 2017

I’ll be posting the Sunday Photoblog for a few weeks – Chris is occupied with other things. I only have my (old) smartphone at my disposal to make pictures, but I love making some shots when I’m walking, despite that they never capture the real thing. Here’s one from an evening walk in the South of France two weeks ago, half an hour before it started to rain.

Wow. I love sunflowers but can never get those big ones to grow in my garden. A day after the seeds (finally) germinate some critter eats them. I blame rabbits.

Great shot. Thanks for sharing.

It is a really nice photo. It’s one of the disappointments I have with my current phone that the camera is really pretty bad. The phone I had before, while smaller and less advanced as a smart phone, had a much better camera. But, the mix of colors here is really very nice.

Lovely. I’m envious of such a beautiful location for a walk.

Thanks, all! I like the things other points out too, though the sky is a bit boring. And I also like that there are NO cyclists ;-) oh, and the single tree on the horizon. That’s going to be me in my next life.
