Sunday photoblogging: Clark Street Bridge, Chicago

by Chris Bertram on June 23, 2019

After last week’s offering, I looked through a few more of my Chicago pictures and quite liked this one. (Plus, a note to our commenter “oldster”: comment leaving a valid email address or email me, and I will respond.)

I like this one as well–and the very next one on your Flickr account “Merchandise Mart” is a stunner too.

This one totally captures a walk around downtown Chicago during my time working in the Merchandise Mart nineteen years ago. Great photo!

Thanks for the offer, but I am a coward who hides behind anonymity, and hopes to continue doing so.

So that absolves you of any obligation you might have had to respond to me.

Does my cowardice also settle your debts to the rest of the readership?

In any case, thanks for reaching out. I am touched. Sorry that I cannot respond in kind.

I don’t know why, but when I look at this image, I feel very comfortable.
(It may be due to straight lines below the floor)

I don’t know why, but this does not look comfortable to me. It may be dim memories of movie scenes in such places, where someone usually ends up running and getting shot. I much preferred your previous one.
